We are a boutique auction house focused entirely on our client’s needs. We serve individuals and businesses by preparing a tailored merchandising plan to market your assets, using all the tools the web provides.

While the majority of our sales take place using the on-line auction method, seller circumstances may dictate other avenues as well, such as public and private sales. We can transport your assets to our facility or sell directly from your home or business.

For buyers, we post an extensive photo library online for each and every sale, the ability to inspect the assets before they are sold, and a mobile bidding platform.

David McGuire, Owner and Founder
	David McGuire, Owner and Founder has been an auctioneer in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1996. Among the hundreds of auctions he has conducted, clients have included banks, courts, attorneys, a U.S. President, Members of Congress, Ambassadors, business owners, galleries, museums and non-profits. Prior to entering the auction business in 1996, McGuire was a marketing executive for an international trade association headquartered in Washington DC, and prior to that was a U.S. Foreign Service Officer, with numerous overseas assignments. He is proud to have been raised on a dairy farm in Cambridge, New York, where he grew up attending live auctions with his father.
Mission
The McGuire Group turns assets into cash for business and individuals in the greater DC metro area. When The McGuire Group agrees to conduct a sale for you, we inventory, photograph, research and post your assets into a catalog on our website. Then we actively put our marketing skills to work using all the tools the web provides. We are a boutique auction house and can look to a cadre of experts, if needed. We keep our core staff intentionally small in order in order to provide you individualized service, but worldwide reach.
